The Ibn Zohr University (UIZ) is considered as one of the largest Moroccan universities, which covers five regions: Souss Massa, Guelmim Oued Noun, Laayoune Sakia Lhamra, Dakhla Oued Eddahab, and Draa Tafilalt. UIZ has more than 20 higher education institutions aiming at offering students, especially those from the Southern provinces of Morocco, a range of training programs that meet their aspirations and the profiles required by these different regions. In addition, UIZ advocates for openness, modernity, efficiency, and transparency as its main driving forces to lead the university if the future. Today, UIZ plays an important role in implementing educational reform, particularly the strategic vision for 2015-2030 and the framework law 51-17.
